Children’s Advocacy Alliance
The Children’s Advocacy Alliance (CAA) is a community-based nonprofit organization that mobilizes people, resources and reason to ensure every child has a chance to thrive and to make Nevada a better place to live and raise a family.

The Children’s Cabinet
The Children’s Cabinet is the community’s stand to ensure every child and family has the services and resources to meet fundamental development, care, and learning needs. The Children’s Cabinet administers the Subsidy Assistance program which assists working families or parents in job training to pay for the cost of their child care and to pay for child care for children at risk of child abuse or neglect.

The Nevada Technical Assistance Center for Social Emotional Intervention (TACSEI) supports parents and early childhood educators by promoting the social emotional competence of children in their care by using the Pyramid Model, a tiered prevention and intervention model designed to prevent and address children’s challenging behaviors.

Office of Head Start Regional Training and Technical Assistance Centers
Regional training and technical assistance staff provide support to Head Start grantees on school readiness goals, preschool and infant and toddler development, staff development, parent and family engagement, and collaboration with early care educators.

State Child Care Licensing Unit, Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Nevada Department of Health and Human Services
To ensure the health, safety and proper treatment of children receiving out-of-home care, the Child Care Licensing Unit has the responsibility for initial licensing, continued monitoring and providing technical assistance to child care facilities caring for five or more children not licensed by local entities.

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® Nevada
T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood ® Nevada is part of Nevada’s early childhood professional development system that addresses the lack of early childhood specialization, inadequate compensation, high turn-over rate, and the lack of professional recognition for early childhood professionals through higher education scholarships for home care providers, teachers, teacher aides, and center directors/owners.
